19th and University at Night

I know catchy title but I couldn't think of another one. I have been wanting to photograph some night shots from around my apartment so here are a couple I took tonight.

Logan: 1 GMC Envoy:0

My close friend Logan Hughes was hit by a GMC Envoy on Monday June 14th at around 7 P.M. The vehicle was traveling at 43 MPH when it hit him. He suffered 3 breaks in his pelvis, a sprained wrist, and 9 stitches in his elbow. He only spent two days in the hospital and is now back at home. I'm glad that he is still alive today. Here are some images of his injuries.

Time to relax and play xbox and watch movies for the next 6 weeks.

It took 9 stitches to close up his elbow.

Still in high spirits after being hit by a Envoy.

Looking for the cut on the top of his forehead.

Goodbye and Good Luck

Tonight was the farewell party for my mom tonight. She did great work over her two years out at United Way of Cass Clay. She will start her new position at Stanford Meritcare in a couple weeks here. I believe I speak for my family in saying Thank You to all who showed up to support my mom. She greatly appreciated that kind gesture and I know she will miss the United Way.
Thanks again.
